Vegan heaven - Edit
You can have delicious Thai dishes but also burrito. And they also have vegan desserts. It's a bit hidden and tiny, but super tasty food. Love it.

The pad Thai was really really good. We also ordered Khao sue , that was also really delicious the yellow curry with it was mild spicy and full of flavour.

Nice place, nice food - Edit
This is an excellent vegan restaurant, hidden a bit far away. Worth the detour would Michelin guide say. I invited two friends for an early dinner. No wifi which is great. Sometimes to spicy for my taste but accomodated to my likings.

Okay... - Edit
5 stars for the food we ordered, we had a really great red curry with Tofu and vegetables and a laab with fake meat. awesome brown rice and sticky rice.
Read more3 stars for the menu offer, a lot of fake meat dishes and very similar to one another.
2 stars for the interior, it looks like a cantine and it's all white and cold and there's elevator-music playing all the time.
3 stars for where it's situated, it's quite a way from everything.

Authentic and delicious Thai food - Edit
I first visited May Veggie in 2018, so this is the first time in their new location at Sukhumvit 101. It’s slightly harder to get to than before, but well worth the trek.
Read moreWe had the fish with mango salad, fried chicken with lemon mayo and the larb. All were delicious and would highly recommend. We were stuffed so didn’t get to try the cakes. Will be visiting again soon!

Still going strong.. - Edit
One of the OG's for vegan food here in Bangkok and still going strong after all these years!!
Read moreCan't believe it took me over a year to visit this place but certainly glad I eventually got round to going on Songkran!
The restaurant is nice and bright with indoor and outdoor seating, very clean. Staff were really friendly and attentive.
There is parking available but it's only a 10 minute walk from the BTS (Punnawithi) so easy to get to if you don't have your own transport.
Menu is pretty vast with so much to choose from. Mainly Thai and Asian dishes but they do have burgers, pasta etc.
Food was fresh and really tasty, absolutely no complaints! Good sized portions and very reasonably priced.
Plenty of cakes to choose from if you need to satisfy a sweet tooth at the end, even comes with some complimentary tea.
Good all round experience for me, will definitely go back again!
Pros: 100% vegan

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
I can't believe I've never written a review for this place before! I've been before and I'll come again. I was so sad when it moved further away from where I live. Today is the first time I've visited the new restaurant. It's a lovely place, inside and outside seating. Car parking available too. The food here is always great! Always! Today I had the vegan sausage and bacon pasta 👌 Bought takeaway vegan cinnamon rolls too, because I just can't leave this place without some! Their signature burger is great, their tofu satay is great, the tea leaf salad is great... I can't remember all the things I've eaten here but just come and try anything, you won't be disappointed 😁

Okay but no wow factor.. - Edit
I feel very conflicted writing this review. With all the previous great reviews, I really wanted to give this place a 5-star review and expected better. We tried quite a lot of dishes, everything was okay, but nothing got that WOW from us. The food was alright, but surely not the best in Bangkok. The flaxseed cake was too hard, dense, and dry, but the cream on it was nice. The toffee cake was also very dry. Sadly, not worth the calories or the price. Also, that day was quite hot, and the staff refused to turn on the AC when asked (perhaps because of COVID?). We were a bit too hot and bothered to enjoy the food. With this price, you would expect a better facility. If May Veggie was better before I got a chance to visit, I hope that they can get back to being great as they were.. In sum, if you have little time in BKK and choosing where to eat, here is definitely not the one. But if you have time and want to try around, might be worth trying but don’t expect too much like me! #Veganuary

We came here a bit before closing time but it was still open, it was quite empty which was a shame but I was super impressed with the food, I got the pad thai and it was seriously the best I’ve had, still dreaming about it! We also got the “bacon” wrapped mushrooms which were quite authentic, and my bf had a “pork” dish which was delicious as well! We finished it off with the cheesecake - all in all a wonderful experience and I wish we had time to come back a second time and try more food!

High Traffic & Classic Foods. - Edit
When I was in Bangkok in February 2019, I ate here on a weekly basis during both lunch and dinnertime hours. Each time I was here, it was packed, which is always a good sign that many people are enjoying the food offerings!
Read moreSince the weather was humid in Bangkok that month, the restaurant's Thai Iced Tea was great for cooling off. The fried rice dish, which is served in a pineapple shell, was by far my favorite dish: filling with a hint of sweetness.
The fact that this restaurant is next to the Asok BTS Station (train station) was a plus, and it's also walking distance from the Terminal 21 mall.
TIP: Take a Grab and go to the restaurant called Xian Yen. It was my favorite 100% vegan restaurant, that's not on Happy Cow (I found it on Google Maps & loved that it served veganized local Thai dishes beverages. It's a mom-and-pop eatery, with vintage photos of the Thai royal family on the walls.)

Found this restaurant via Happy Cow back in the day and didn't look back. Food was great, good portions reasonable prices even for Bangkok. Served promptly in a great modern surrounding. A must do if you are in Bangkok.

Vegan food for meat lovers, really? - Edit
This places slogan is "vegan food for meat lovers". I find it really disturbing actually. Here might not be the place to discuss mock meat as meat substitute or stand alone food; but the way I see it, it is something I like to eat, not because it tastes particularly like certain meats, it is more the food itself. This slogan suggests vegans need to substitute and actually crave the carcasses of animals.... Wrong.
