A health food vegetarian cafe run by a ministry of the Byron Bay SDA Church. Sources from local growers and has free Wi-Fi. Extensive menus. Reopened Oct 2017 after refurbishment. Also has clearly marked gluten free options. Reported fully vegan April 2024. Free vegan lunch from the church at 1pm on Saturdays. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-3:00pm, Sun 11:00am-3:00pm.

From the outside this quaint cafe didn't scream anything particularly spectacular however let me assure you the flavours in every single dish we tried were exquisite and I was heartbroken the next day when it was closed for the weekend. This is a must try above any of the social media famous cafes but get in early before stock diminishes.

We tried all the hot dishes and a salad, it was honestly really really good! The food is really nice, those are simple but effective dishes and it’s cheap! The people running the place are as lovely as it takes and the salted caramel cheesecake 🤤 it’s a raw one, and we’ve never had raw food that was game changing for us, but this cheesecake is worth the try!

The food at Manna Haven was absolutely incredible— so good that we went there for lunch everyday for the four days that we were in Byron Bay. The food is spiced amazingly, and the options changed daily— always with delicious hot savory dishes and salads— many of which are vegan and gluten free. We also took a dessert for take away everyday, and they were beautiful, delicious and gluten free and vegan too! My partner, who is not gf or vegan, said that if he could learn to cook the food from Manna Haven, then he could easily be vegan/gf! Our meals at Manna Haven were warm, very filling, cooked with love, affordable, and we are so grateful we discovered Manna Haven our first day in Byron.
