A wonderful experience - Edit
We had miso soup as starters and the sushi boat. Both were amazing and chef was very kind. The boat was MASSIVE and included tempura as well!! Make sure to come here super hungry, as the boat had so much sushi for the price point (only 44e).

Sushi Art - Edit
One of the best food experiences I have ever had. So beautiful I didn't want to eat it, but had to because it was so amazing. Little pieces of art, made with love. The staff were lovely. I would go to Lisbon just to eat here.

An incredible experience - Edit
I actually can’t believe what I ate here! It’s one of those places where you stop and think ‘why on earth does anyone even eat animals?’. The food was prepared with so much care and so cleverly created. Such a nice concept, would come back a million times!

Amazing Artisan Sushi - Edit
This is a fantastic treat for any previous sushi lovers looking for sushi with flavour. There are a great variety of options available here, and it’s amazing the range of vegan flavours available to sushi. I’d particularly recommend the orange hand rolls. For my partner who used to love meat sushi, this was an amazing experience. For me I love my plain avo and cucumber but I really enjoyed trying so many new flavours too.

Heaven for vegan sushi lovers - Edit
If you think vegan sushi is boring, because it's more ore less rice with cucumber or avocado - Legumi will prove you wrong. We shared the suggestion of the chef with miso-soup and about 40 pieces sushi in about 10 variations. They were all delicious and really creative (one was topped with strawberry jam!).

Nice sushi - Edit
It was the first time I tried a sushi all vegan and it was pretty cool!
Read moreI think the restaurant could be a little bit more organized, the tables maybe could be in different positions and they had a guy playing guitar there which sometimes seemed to muddle the service a bit.
The food was great, the soup is awesome and it was the first time that I tried the miso soup, the vegan sashimi was also a very nice surprise.
I recommend this restaurant if you are vegetarian or vegan for sure.
The only thing that could be better also is the menu. I think that would be better if they had a tasting menu.

The vegan sushi everyone was waiting for - Edit
Legumi is an amazing option for vegan sushi. As far as I know the only fully vegan sushi place in Lisbon (in Portugal maybe).
Read moreThe pieces are amazing, as well as the starters, mainly the miso soup. Honorable mentions for the jackfruit pieces and the “salmon” sashimi, that are heaven sent. Dessert is very good too. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the lack of a tasting menu or a all you can eat version. I think that for something like 25 euros per person it would be fair. We ordered starters and the 40 pieces and we ended wanting more.
Pros: It is a vegan sushi for god sake, Originality of the pieces, Starters
Cons: Lack of an all you can eat option

It was so fun eating at Legumi Sushi which is completely vegan, totally beautiful, incredibly delicious, and was hosting a vegan festival on the day we stopped by! They have quite the spread to enjoy.

So cool to see such creative vegan sushi and not just avocado rolls! So tasty and to a really cheap price compared to other cities and countries.

100% delicious vegan sushi - Edit
Was a bit sceptical about this place - now I rate it 5 starts! Beautifully presented and delicious tasting. We asked one of each in the menu and boy, was that a good idea! The place is cute, also, with a little play area for kids.
Read moreThe woman serving us was also very attentive, they have us a complimentary 3 pieces on top of all the sushi we had already eaten! Plus a little vegan caramel for us to try :)
I definitely recomment this place if you are in Lisbon, even my friend, who only eats fish sushi, was completely astounded.
Go before it becomes TOO popular :P

The vegan sashimi is mind blowing - Edit
This is by far the best vegan sushi I've already had. I went there twice while I was visiting Lisbon for the all you can eat tasting menu. There was a wide variety of options like miso soup with wild mushrooms, dumplings, shimeji, rolls and the famous sushi boat with a huge selection of different items including the sashimi which was the most mind blowing option. Staff are very friendly and they also have good drinks. Try the capirinha de sake. It's definitely a winner!

It's a No. Good sushi doesn't make up for the bad staff service and awful space. - Edit
Me and a group of friends went there with high expectations seeing what has been said about the restaurant @ HappyCow.
Read moreGetting there, a bit of a surprise. The space is small, really dimly-lit (not in a good, fancy way) and the decoration is, to say the least, bellow average. They even have a small corner for kids to play that I'm sure is not to be seen by any health & food auditors.
We went for the 22€ "all you can eat" degustation menu (as suggested by the initially really nice waitress). The food was, overall, good. They start by giving you appetizers that don't really match the quality of the sushi - which is probably for you not to be as hungry when it comes.
The thing is they start to treat you in a really different manner (much longer waiting periods and you feel as if you are being invited to leave), after you order your 2nd/3rd sushi dish - as if the "all you can eat" was not really supposed to be an "all you can eat" experience.
Bearing in mind the overall experience, as much as the food has some quality, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Also, I won't come back as there are plenty of other great vegan options around Lisbon - with equivalent or better food quality and much better service & spaces.

Impressive but almost TOO creative - Edit
Sometimes, less is more. This place really goes out of its way to create extravagant and inventive sushi, which I applaud them for. However, for me, it actually lowers the experience taste-wise. Most of the simpler sushi I had in Portugal tasted better than this, which is a shame. The overall dining experience was definitely a cool one though!

Complicated isn’t always better - Edit
This place seems to prioritize innovation over flavor, which is a shame because the sushi is beautiful. They definitely have some edgy flavors, but at the end of the day, I’d rather have a well-executed roll with tofu, avocado or tempura.

This restaurant totally blew my mind!! I have tried many vegan restaurants but this one is definitely my all-time-favorite! Finally vegan sushi! - Edit
Great vegan sushi menu. Palkma helped me pick ghe most tasty items from the menu. Ended up with taking the miso soup, gyoza and the sushi boat with all different types of sushi rolls, including 3 nagiri pieces which tastes like the real thing. Got me totally confused and had to ask Paloma if it was actually vegan. Very reasonable priced and located near a corner with a view of the city.
