I have been to many vegan places and this one is at the top! The food, atmosphere , and service were all great. The nachos and cauliflower were my favorite!

Fabulous Brunch - Edit
Now that I think about it, I've only ever been to this restaurant for brunch, which needs to change! Their brunch is excellent--I highly recommend the cream cheeze and guava empanadas and the chick'n and waffles. Their homemade limeades are very tasty. Their portions are humongous--if you leave hungry, it's your own fault!

Awesome food - Edit
Totally vegan place with awesome food. The southern supper plate is my favorite. This is hearty vegan eating. They have lots of lighter options too, like wraps, salads, and sides. Chill environment.

Best vegan brunch ever 🤩 - Edit
But don’t miss out on their other items and the vegan tea party! Kale my name really has it all!
Read moreDelicious beyond meat burgers and tenders, nachos, fried mac&cheese balls (!!), the best vegan cheesecake, pancakes, and so much more.
Still thinking about which is my favorite dish but it’s a super tough decision to be made - I promise you’ll want to go again after your first time!
Great opening hours, best owner ever - a place you really must visit when in Chicago!

Kale yeah! - Edit
The sliders were good, but not unusual (the veggie patty was flavorful but mushy, the beyond patty was tasty). The tequenos are amazing! Would come again just for them!

It was good but not something I think I’d do again. Went because of Tabitha and am glad we did but nothing was over the top great. Bit pricy for the atmosphere.

Best vegan food in chicago - Edit
While this is by far the best place for vegan food in Chicago - there is still room for improvement. The flavor palate is extremely limited. The veggie burger is absolute moosh. On the other hand - their empanadas are great! As is the buffalo tofu wrap (unless whoever prepared it dumped so much buffalo sauce on it that that’s all you can taste.) I get it’s got the word “kale” in the title - but I do wish they offered some romaine. There’s a lot of food I’d wish were incorporated in their menu - like chickpeas and mushrooms. The place itself is very cute and has a great vibe - just wish the menu featured more variety.

Not good - Edit
Great spot and outdoor patio and server was great, BUT food was not good. The menu sounded a lot better than what was served. The vegan food definitely needs improvements. Sorry, but wouldn’t recommend.

Yum! - Edit
Traveled from MN just to go there. The staff was so friendly. It was so hard to choose what to order. We got the fried cauliflower and it was so delicious. It was so big we had to change our entree plans. I got the taco salad and my partner got avacado tacos. They were just as delicious! We both had to get a to go box. I am about to eat the rest of my leftovers now and am so excited!

Okay. Not Great. - Edit
It’s wonderful they are 100% plant based and have celebrity endorsements. The food however is overpriced for the quality. Not to mention the menu isn’t really imaginative, unique, or original. It’s a mish mosh of different foods that just copies the non-vegan versions and also uses a lot of name brand fake meat options instead of really showcasing true plant based foods. It feels like a fad restaurant. It was all just okay.

In Love! - Edit
I visited while traveling due to Tabitha Browns recommendation and I was not disappointed! My non vegan sister raved over her burger. The owner was very hands on and hospitable. Nelson our server was excellent. Will definitely be back. The Mac and cheese balls! Omg. Best I’ve had.

WRAP FILLED WITH LOVE - Edit
I ordered the Italian wrap filled with MASSIVE chunks of seitan, roasted tomato, vegan mozz, aioli and kale. The tortilla was so moist and toasted; the aioli was simply insane. I ended up finishing the whole thing and it didn’t even feel heavy on my stomach!
Read moreThe fries ended up soggy after the Grubhub delivery, so I would advise against that if you’re ordering in. But otherwise, the whole wrap was just beaming with love and a sense of home. They used sharpies to write really cute messages on both the box and the bag. Such a genuine businesses and I hope to visit in person soon.

My go to spot when I’m in Chicago - Edit
They have so much to choose from. Every time I order to go, the tequenos always seem to manage their way into my cart. I usually go for the Italian seitan wrap to balance out the tequenos a bit.
