Nice, but pricy - Edit
When we arrived at the restaurant we were very friendly greeted by the owner. Sadly we had to figure out that a big part of the menu were only available until 5pm so we could only choose from a very reduced and overly pricy menu. The food is good, homemade and healthy.
Read moreWe decided to pick different side dishes then and ended up with two tiny portions (potatoes and köfte) for each 10€ served minimum 15 minutes apart as well as a bigger portion of Nachos. At least the cheese sauce was delicious.
The seating is nice, they allowed a dog in a part of the restaurant but we would not come back in the evening because of the crazy prices.
Edit: we got following answer from the owner which explains the pricing:
„Hi miss and mister, our dear guests from Sunday evening. Ofcourse first of all thanks for coming to our place and taking the time for sending a feedback. I wanted to response first on here to sort things out. I hope you understand when we say that we are a lunchroom in the afternoon, a restaurant in the evening. Being a lunchroom in the evening is unfortunately not enough to keep this place running. You’re saying 2/3 of the card isn’t available in the evening. But we have a menu card of 32 pages. Half with ‘good’, half with pictures. So 16 pages of deliciousness. And just 3 pages aren’t available in the evening. Thought that’s reasonable. A burger for 17€ in the afternoon and 25€ in the evening isn’t correct. It’s 12,50 in the afternoon without chips/fries And 19,50 in the evening with chips/fries. The evening burger isn’t the same as in the afternoon. And also, the evening burger is 1,5x at least bigger then the afternoon burgers! That’s makes a quiet difference. Our dönmez plate isn’t 30€ , its €24,50. Also a big difference and also sounds much better then how you explain it. And even if all these prices are still a bit on the high end, it’s because everything is gluten free, home made and for more then 90% organic/biological. That has a price. For us and for our guests. But yes, there was a time between the two snacks you ordered. That’s on us. It was crowded and everybody came the same time and we did our best. Hopefully at least you get a little satisfying from all what I explained. We just hope you will give us a second change. Evening , afternoon, what’s best for you. Also, I ask you, we would be great full, if you removed this review. And wait for your second visit. The drinks are from us.“

Fantastisches veganes Essen und toller Service - Edit
Wir waren während unseres Urlaubes für einen Tag in Rotterdam und wie immer haben wir uns vorher nach einem guten veganem Restaurant auf Happy Cow erkundigt. Der Name Happy Food und die tollen Bewertungen haben uns zu Erol gebracht und was soll ich sagen, ES WAR FANTASTISCH!!!! Das Essen, der Wein, das Ambiente und der tolle Service wären 10000⭐️wert!!!! Und für die Scharf-Esser unter uns, bei Happy Food und Health ist es wirklich mega scharf wenn es auf der Karte steht!!!! Vielen Dank Erol für den leckeren brownie!!!!! Take care!!!

Surprisingly delicious - Edit
As a vegan and gluten-free eater my options are often limited to salads or fries with Ketschup in the most restaurants. But this is the place where I got perfectly happy. The food was delicious in any ways. Even my boyfriend, who loves to eat spicy and by spicy I mean really really spicy, got everything he wanted. So if you are Vegan, gluten free and/or would like to have some delicious spicy burgers, this is the place for you.

Pricy and tasty East-Mediterranean Cuisine - Edit
We were here in the evening on a weekday and were quite lucky to get a table. Reservations are recommended. The owner and team was nice and comforting. The interior is beautiful like sitting in a garden.
Read moreThere's a lunch menu and an all-day menu. Everything is gluten-free and vegan, the proteins like Köfte are homemade, which explains the higher price.
The cuisine is mediterranean and turkish inspired with Köfte, Döner, grilled vegetables, tzaziki, meze and rice, but also burgers (which we did not try).
We ordered grill plate with different "meats" and enjoyed our meals. Strong seasoning and roast flavors really delivered. The food is freshly prepared, so it takes some time.
The owner is really nice and happy to make you happy. He wanted to clearly distinguish his restaurant from all the vegan fast food places that already exist. He wants to write a cookbook.
To Sum Up: Good acutal food, good sized portions, nothing extraordinary and therefore a bit prizy.

We have been visiting Rotterdam and found this restaurant. The whole menu is gluten-free and plant-based. There are lots of options from snacks to meals and desserts. It was the best experience we had in any restaurant of this kind so far. The owner has been very friendly and the interior design was pleasing too.
