Closing on February 9th, so hurry up! - Edit
(Previous Review Below)
Read moreI've been to Hank several times by now.
While I agree that their burgers are possibly the best in town; I must say that I find them a bit too heavy (full disclosure: that's probably how burgers are; and I'm not a big burger fan).
The set for 12 euros is a great value, because it comes with a burger (choose from 5 varieties - all with complementary vegan cheese now), a side dish (baked potato wedges, coleslaw or soup of the day), and a drink (water, juice, bionade, coffee or tea).
The 14 euros set also includes a dessert (carrot cake, cookies, sorbet during the summer).
Staff is always friendly and nice.
And now that they have tables on the second floor you can finally eat in. :)

Very welcoming staff and the drink dispenser is interesting to avoid wasting cans and aluminum.
A company in difficulty to support!

Not impressed - Edit
Went in and a staff member was lying down and looking at their phone. Felt like it was run by teenagers and was unclean. Very expensive for what it was. Desserts looked unappetising so didn't go for one. If you want burgers, go to Furahaa instead!

Really tasty burgers, decent coleslaw and good potato wedges - the homemade vegan cheese sauce was pretty good too. Friendly staff, will certainly visit again!

Ok - Edit
It’s a bit pricey and burgers are quite oily. Was thankful for a vegan option though!

Bon mais très copieux ! - Edit

Not great but will do in a pinch - Edit
I had a vegetable burger with fries. The fries were very good. The bread on the burger was very doughy which made for a too soft texture. Perhaps if they toasted the bun, it would’ve been better. The burger itself wasn’t too bad but it was a bit bland.

Mushroom burger - Edit
The food was ok - nothing special. I wasn’t fond of the burger itself and the bun was doughy. The potato wedges were nice though.

Schmuddeliger Burgerschuppen, Bedienung sehr langsam, Fries mässig gut. Dir Burger haben wir nicht probiert, vielleicht verdienen diese ja die 5 Sterne?

Quality tanked at Hank - Edit
This used to be a solid, cheap burger place. Now it's expensive and bad. The quality of both the burger and the fries were really bad and I noticed a number of other diners felt the same way. Too bad because it had potential, but now they use one frozen patty and the fries were an under cooked, lumpy mess. Sad.

Delicious vegan burger - Edit
I really enjoyed the montagnard burger here, it's a narrow second to Vbb House (also in Paris) in terms of best ever I've tasted, with the taste of the cheese being a real highlight (especially compared to the usually bland cheese served on vegan burgers in Ireland). Unfortunately the experience of eating in here was a bit marred by the unfriendly staff who didn't seem to want us there (it was empty when we arrived). Seating only upstairs and decor very grungy (can't tell if intentional). I see other reviews recommend for takeout only and I think I agree. Would recommend though. I love that it's been around 10 years already.

Tasty burgers - Edit
Tasty food, but the place was a bit neglected and extremely stifling after a hot day with only one fan for the whole dining room upstairs. Better order food for takeout there.

Don't go for "croq" - Edit
Perhaps it's my fault for wanting to try vegan version of "croque monsieur". It was just bland, and disappointing. Sweet potato fries were not crispy, but mushy. However, the burgers look nice, so you should go for them. Prices are OK, but different from the menu.

Still one of the best! - Edit
In 2016 we ate here when there weren't a lot of 100% vegan restaurants and we enjoyed it very much then.
Read moreThis time we took our children along with us and it's still one of the best burger restaurants we've been to. Our children loved the Hankdog and we loved The Double Smack burger and the Champêtre burger (with vegan meat in stead of a veggie patty).
Next time in Paris, we will definitely come here again!
Pros: Good burgers, Good hotdogs, Kind staff

We had a good time at this all vegan burger joint in Paris. Great service and very clean establishment. We would return to this restaurant upon our next visit to the city of love.

Best burger in town! - Edit
Hopefully the title says it all. Everything was delicious! Don't let the photos fool you, there's tons of sauce and what started out as a very picturesque burger ended up being a gooey mess of delicious goodness! There's napkins and hand gel available, which was a relief as very much needed. The cookie was one of the best I've had in Paris. The team were extremely friendly and helpful, plus the menus are in both English and French. Only slight negative, whilst I didn't mind the industrial/post-apolocalyptic look of the walls, it might not be to everyone's tastes.

I had the mushroom burger and it was delicious. We didn't like the potato wedges here, they were pre-cooked, the prices are higher. It was hot and smelly from the kitchen.

Decent burger but overhyped - Edit
I’ve had much better vegan burgers even in non-vegan places so was a bit disappointed given the hype around this place. Also quite pricey for what it was.
