Welcoming café with delicious food! - Edit
I came here with my fiancée for a light lunch. It’s a cute little café with a deli selling ‘meats’, ‘cheeses’ and other bits too. The staff were really lovely and attentive and the food itself was really delicious! We got Garlic Mushroom & Honestly Tasty Camembert Toasties which were amazing! I’ve had Honestly Tasty ‘cheeses’ before and they’re all really delicious, so I was excited to have the ‘Camembert’ in the toastie – it melted really well and it was really delicious. The toast and mushrooms were also really tasty – an all-round winner.
Read moreWe also got a selection of sweet treats – a cinnamon bun, peach pastry and Swedish chocolate globes. The cinnamon bun and peach pastry were really tasty but the Swedish chocolate globes were the stand-out for me, absolutely delicious. They were so good we bought 2 more to take home!
Pros: Delicious food, Lovely staff, The Swedish chocolate globes!!

What a gem! - Edit
We went there initially only to kill some time before going to Unity Diner and grabbed some amazing pastries and nut-based cheeses. Went straight back the next day to enjoy an outstanding lunch. You have to try the potato salad. And everything else. We loved everything we had: salads, sandwiches, soup, cashew cheeses, cinnamon buns, an almond croissant, a sausage roll, a cheeze twist, and a Danish rye bread. Oh and the coffee was good, too! The atmosphere was cosy and staff were friendly!

Such a cute cafe - Edit
What a lovely little cafe, with such an interesting menu. I had the scrambled tofu, sausage, harrisa mayo and crispy onions on toast and the flavours were amazing, definitely recommend it.

The loveliest little cafe in London - Edit
Delicious, fresh, unpretentious Swedish food. We couldn't decide on what we wanted so ordered a bit of everything and ate it as a little tapas 😆
Read moreThe staff are so friendly and kind, and truly passionate about veganism, Scandinavian cuisine, quality and doing everything really well.
They also have a little deli shop so when you can recreate some of the magic at home. We LOVED the quince and peach tea we had and so bought a bag. Honestly, you have to try it it's like a hug in a cup!

I’ve never been to a vegan Swedish cafe before - the food was nice, I had the meatballs. The real star of the show was the traditional cinnamon bun which was absolutely delicious.

We really enjoyed our visit at Dauns in London. The food is hearty and if you like vegan cheese, this is the spot for you to go. We had the Toastie Deal with the basil toast, scrambled eggs and a hot dog. The dishes were amazing and the owner friendly.

Great cinnamon buns - Edit
Popped in here on the way home. The owner was very helpful and friendly and took us through the produce they have in the shop & bakery section. We got some half price cinnamon buns (reduce them later in the day I guess) which kept well until the next morning, a sourdough loaf & blueberry jam. Would like to try their open sandwiches. Food was reasonably priced

Delicious, quaint, unique - Edit
Very friendly chef, came and chatted to us about the menu which was very helpful! Had one of the toasties - which was delicious- I also highly recommend the ice tea. They obviously followed up on reviews because they gave us very adequately sharp knives for the food! All in all I was super impressed and would definitely come back for more!

The toasties were good, although a bit greasy. We tried three different toasties and liked all of them. The knifes were unfortunately not sharp enough to cut them.

My favourite place in London - Edit
This place is quickly becoming my favourite in London. It is relatively cheap in comparison to other places and the food is delicious. The staff are all super nice, my only criticism is that they can sometimes be slow. Not a huge issue though as the benefits outweigh this.

Just fantastic! - Edit
This small and unassuming cafe is where I had the best food of my trip to London. Everything was delicious and it really shows that the owner is passionate about making good vegan food. The Scandinavian menu is completely unique in the vegan food scene in London.
Read moreWe got the smorrebrod trio, the cheese and seitan platter, and the Swedish meatballs, and had pastries and hot chocolate for dessert. It's hard to pick a favorite but if I had to, the meatballs were wonderful - served with creamy mashed potatoes, white gravy, a fresh salad, and lingonberry jam.
Don't miss this place!

Unusual menu, need to get better with the service - Edit
Was very excited to try Daun’s as finally someone offers original menu in London.
Read moreOrdered one of the open sandwiches(fishy) and Swedish quesadillas for starter. The quesadilla was forgotten so never got to try, the sandwich was bit disappointing, very small and not very tasting of “fish” rather dill tofu “cottage cheese” spread. As main we had the meatballs, they were nice served with very good white sauce, mashed potatoes, salad, bread and cranberry jam.
For dessert we had the in house made miso chocolate ice cream- delicious! And guava one, also nice.
The person serving us was nice, however the service was very slow. Only for the starters (at the end only one) we waited for over 20min, very warm tap water, …
All in it came to about £34, normal for London.
I’m thinking to come back and hope for better.
Pros: Unusual menu, Location
Cons: Slow service

Unusual vegan fare - Edit
Rare to find Scandinavian vegan food. This was very good; plenty of options, freshly made. I had the seitan roast open sandwich, which was modest in size but deceptively filling. The take out salad was equally good value and very tasty. They also sell "honestly tasty" cheese, which is well worth trying if you miss dairy.

Daun's - Edit
I recently tried Daun's and love the atmosphere and the fact they sell their own product (e.g., vegan artisanal cheese) and other vegan products. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the cinnamon roll was not my favorite (it was also dry) and the charcoal artisanal cheese I bought had the wrong cheese inside the container, which was actually peppercorn artisanal cheese. The staff and I talked about how I really disliked peppercorn cheese and they helped me find an alternative flavor (charcoal instead), so I just had to laugh about this happening when I got home.
