Good quality food for really cheap prices (25k for pho), the people who run it are friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. I recommend getting pho with banh quay as well, it’s a kind of fried bread😄

Ok - Edit
Really cheap but food is not amazing. Had 2 noodle soups and had to add a lot of condiments to make them taste like something. There's definetley better places to eat. But if you need a cheap place and you don't care about the flavour this pace is for you!

Nice place cheap food - Edit
I had the mushroom porridge and fresh spring rolls. Cost around 50k for both and they were really good. For the amount of reviews this place has I was expecting better. But I was not unimpressed by it.

What a gem! - Edit
Great family run little spot with cheap and tasty options.
Read moreHighly recommend the com chay (daily plate) with steamed rice.
The highlight though was unexpected, but also how you recognize true care. On their feature board and menu, the most expensive plate is 30000, yet, they had “grilled mushroom” listed at 80000. As a good lover I had to order. He explained they import them and they are very expensive. It took some time but when it came, oh my god it was insane! The mushroom is called Monkey’s head and has a crazy texture, really nice chew and amazing flavour, would re order in a sec if given the chance!
The noodle soups are great (especially the second one) and fresh spring rolls tasty.
Pros: Cheap, Great options, All vegan

Devine pho - Edit
You can get an amazing bowl of pho with mock beef for 25k dong. The chilli sauce provided is fiery and compliments the broth so well.

One of the best soups in Vietnam - Edit
Very friendly owner, we tried everything from the menu (except for porridge) and everything was delicious. Ask for no sugar in a juice. In this part of the town is food way better than in the centre, think about staying here, it's worth it 😅

Best vegan pho we tried in Hanoi. - Edit
The pho was delicious and we returned back to have it again. We also tried fried and fresh spring rolls and vegan sausage. All very good and worth of returning back to this cosi joint. The restaurant is tuck away in a side street, very clean and pleasant to stay. Only cash. You can take you food home if you wish. The owner us super nice and friendly. He remembered me and what I ordered last time. Definitely recommending.

Good vegan pho - Edit
I happened to be in the area and decided to check if this place was open. It is very much open and serving food. I had the Pho, it was really good. Unlike the ones I was used to outside Vietnam, this had more fake meat and less veggies. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really good. The owners are very sweet, friendly and helpful. I would recommend going here if you are in Hanoi.

Sorry, but this place is no longer open... - Edit
I am a vegan who has been traveling the world for four years and eating at vegan restaurants. I do hope that Happy Cow post this review to save many of you the trouble of walking 2.5 kilometers only to find a vacant storefront. I talked to locals too who said the place has gone out of business. If you wish to check yourself then try calling their number. I think it is sad when vegan restaurants close their doors.

The BEST food - Edit
I'm not kidding. Please come and try their food! We were so taken back by how amazingly delicious the food was. And it barely cost a thing. I would have paid 4x the amount had I known it was that good. My biggest regret is not being able to go back. We've been traveling for 7 months and it's been one of the best places we've eaten at. Also the man and woman that run it are super nice.

Coming from the States Vegan Phó is usually veggie, but this place has fake meat and it took me back to the time when I ate Phó Bo. The fried spring rolls were delicious as well. I highly recommend a visit here when visiting Hanoi.

Beautiful little restaurant down a quiet backstreet. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The food was unbelievably tasty for an incredible price. Pho and Bun noodles were our favorites and you'd be silly not to try them for 25K each! We'll definitely be back
