Amazing vegan and gf food - Edit
So much choice, so delicious, lovely cafe with very relaxed vibe, only slight gripe would be the portions are a little small but for the price it doesn’t really matter, maybe an option to size up would be good.

Wonderful place for breakfast brunch and lunch. We went here every day for our breakfast/brunch and tried a lot of dishes. I loved their bowls and hubby went more for the noodles :)

Has pure celery juice! - Edit
This place is an absolute gem. Worked my way through the menu, it all tastes great and the staff are lovely. Especially gray was they have pure celery juice and the medical medium liver Rescue smoothie. I spent many hours there!

Delicious food - Edit
Sadly I think I just had bad luck with my experience. There were a lot of people and I could tell that the staff had a lot going on. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order, then 20 minutes passed again and a new girl came to take our order again, and then they didn’t have any of the food or drinks I ordered, so had to choose something else.. then it took maybe 40 minutes for my tiny tiny portion of pesto pasta, that also was cold, to arrive. A staff member apologized and was super nice. I still have trust in this place, because the food I got was super delicious, just a small portion for the price.
Read moreI will come back and try again! 😊
Update: I came back and they still didn’t have my chai latte😒but I got a smoothie and it was really delicious and creamy, and I also chose a juice, and you can clearly tell that they use fresh ingredients, it was very delicious! The waiting time this time was not more than 10 minutes!

Wow - Edit
I didn’t expect to find a place like this in Laos. Love the oat pancakes and coffee. The cafe also feels organic, comfortable and serene with wooden furnitures, plants, natural soft lighting.

healthy change - Edit
Was nice to have some fresh wholefood options after eating lots of stir fried dishes and mock meat for weeks. That said, the mixed potato chips we shared as a starter were the tastiest part of our meal. The bowls we had were fine, more than 2/3 filled with salad greens though! And my bowl listed hummus and chickpeas as separate ingredients but had no whole chickpeas. When I asked, they said they were in the hummus! Lol, obviously!

Okay, but small portions for its price - Edit
I am not amazed by their food, but I’m so happy there is a fully vegan place in laos after traveling in the north and south, eating only local food

Love this place! - Edit
Really modern, chilled vibe. Great menu with lots of fresh salads, hummus etc. Everything is homemade & delicious - I loved the burger! Lots of yummy desserts and fresh pressed juices. Considering how "upscale" and modern this place is, the prices are very reasonable. The staff are so warm & friendly too!

Cakes to die for - Edit
Came here for cakes. They’re very expensive (western prices) but so good. We got a lime cheesecake and a nutty chocolate tart. Both were amazing with taste and textures. Would be too pricey to come for meals I think but perfect for a cake stop!

Great vegan cafe - Edit
Had brunch at Coco & Co. They are linked with Le Trio, next door, who makes the coffee.
Read moreI had a nice cafe latte, avocado toast and a smoothie (banana, avo, walnut, almond milk). Everything was good, and much appreciated. Thank you.
Note: Coffee is from Le Trio, next door. There are 3 plant mylks to choose from, and also cow's milk (Le Trio isn't vegan)
...
The only downside is the price. Laos is a very poor country, and yet I paid almost the same price as back home... I don't get it. It's not just this place. I've been to Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, and Vientiane -- There's some serious tourist gouging skin tax going on in Laos. Cambodia was the same. The least developed countries charge the most (I've been to 7 Asian countries recently). So much for travelling cheaply...
Pros: Vegan cafe, Nice staff, Good food
Cons: Expensive

This was recommended to us by our nine vegan friends who live here - stating this was the best cafe in Vientiane - and they weren’t wrong. Loved every meal we had here, we ate here 3 times during our stay.

Lovely space to relax. Fully vegan menu. We had the oatmeal and the pancakes. Reasonably priced for a fully vegan “western” style breakfast which seems hard to find in Vientiane.
