bounty!! - Edit
my heart and soul! a weekly ritual for years! the food menu is big and there’s a giant rotating array of pastries. if you don’t love something, try something else, i promise there’s something for everyone. once clementine blessed me with a vegan italian rainbow cookie years ago and i will always be grateful. also a great place for vegan bday cakes and pies. fav savory options are the blat, avocado toast, and goddess bowl. the brûléed grapefruit if youre feelin fancy. pumpkin pie in the fall. idk man clementine has a mood for every season!!!!

Food Stuff - Okay Coffee - Edit
Same owner as Le Petite Monstre, (not vegans) with the addition of a cafe menu. Really, the chocolate croissants are definitely the star attraction here. The coffee isn't that great, (weak and lacking flavor) but on par with the rest of the city/country.
Read moreI enjoyed my goddess bowl, and the pistachio croissant was equally as delicious as the rest. I wanted a breakfast bagel but the upsale individual components I wanted to add, egg, tofu, cheese, tomato, pickle, would have turned it into a $30 sandwich.
Down one star just cus not vegan owned. Sorry isn't good enough when lives are on the line and I hope that hurts your business I'm certain it hurts less than being one of your innocent victims. Correct me if I was misinformed by your staff. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Pros: chocolate croissants, good location
Cons: bowl made my lip twitch (msg), weak coffee, not vegan owned, expensive

My favorite cake slices! - Edit
The best slices of vegan cake I've ever had. I first had a white cake with raspberry filling, it was actually a day-old slice, so I got it on discount ($3.50!). I actually felt they were doing themselves a dis-service because: 1. I could not tell it was day-old 2. It was a huge slice. The second piece I had a couple days later was orange cardamom and it was FANTASTIC. The bakery/cafe was pretty busy, super friendly service!
Read moreFour years later: I went back and got a pistachio croissant there, very flakey and so good! Still my favorite vegan bakery in the world. Not joking.

Wildly good - Edit
I’ve eaten vegan croissants in several places with heavy French influence (including multiple cities in France!) and the pistachio croissant at Clementine is the best I’ve found. This place is wildly good.

Not Disappointed - Edit
I used the TooGoodToGo app for this place and didn’t know what I was getting, and I was relatively pleasantly surprised. I got 4 large pastries for $4.99. They all look pretty good. I tried one and it was pretty good — a little stale but that’s because it was leftover from what didn’t sell. I would love to try their sandwiches

Good pastries but not sandwiches - Edit
Nice vegan pastries although they did not tasted as good as in their sister business Le Petit Monstre.
Read moreOn the other side, my friend had a sandwich with chick'n and he had to wait 30 minutes for a simoke bun which was simple and nothing special.

Tasty but pricey! - Edit
I bought an artichoke cheese palmier to take away and it cost $6.50! Probably the most expensive pastry I've bought from a bakery. Aside from that, it was pretty tasty. There was lots on offer (like cupcakes) and maybe I'll go back one day to try more of their offerings.

I’m not a big fan of their pastries, but their food i think i can get on board with. I got one of their donuts and cinnamon rolls before. Kinda disappointed both times.

INCREDIBLE! The only avocado toast in all of New York that is actually worth the price. The fried chicken sandwich is the BEST I’ve had. Pastries are always baked to perfection. Highly recommend
