nice place

Comfortable place to hang out and eat with friends, inside or out.

The food is really good. I was too full after my Zucchini Quiche and Berry-Ginger Lassi to try one of the amazing looking cakes in the display case. I'll have to try these later.

Pros: really good vegan food, Reasonably priced, comfortable atmospher

had a lovely time

tried waffle w maple syrup and blueberry rosemary muffin both of which was delicious and filling! soy latte w caramel was good too! all in all I had a great time and would like to come back again to try the waffle w hot cherries 😍 not expensive either imo. I thought the decor is a bit too minimalist but that's just my personal taste

The best cafe in town!

I simply love this cafe as they always offer great coffee, a wide selection of tea, amazing cakes and tarts, a wide and imaginative selection of bagels as well as a small selection of hot meals including soup.

For those who just can't get enough sweet stuff, the cakes are simply other-worldly and a real treat. Not only do they look great but they taste just as good. You really feel like you have the same range of choice as you would in a Konditorei/Austrian coffeehouse.

They also offer one of the original and quite possibly the best vegan brunch in Berlin! There is a good variety of savoury and sweet food without being overkill. The savoury dishes were seasoned well and weren't too fatty, meaning you still get to taste everything without just having a salty taste in your mouth and a bloated belly! It seemed pretty healthy too, yet with plenty of flavour and excellent desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Just make sure to arrive before 12 to avoid a long wait, unless you can wait until a bit later, cause it's understandably very busy! Oh, and did I mention the brunch is only 9.50!?

It is a little out of the way and off the beaten track but it's certainly worth finding and the surrounding area (Rixdorf) is certainly interesting. It's not far from the station 'S+U Neukölln' (ring line and U7).

Pros: Amazing cakes, Nice decor and atmosphere, Great spot for lunch or Sunday brunch

My new favourite cafe

Cafe Vux is a must-visit if you're in Neukölln. Its location is across from a pretty church, so if the weather is good you'll have a nice view and be able to people watch on this quiet side street.

The staff here are friendly, and please note it's cash only. I've come here twice so far: once for a slice of cake and fresh mint tea (super fresh - as in the mint leaves are freshly picked and then have hot water poured on them, great flavour). The cake was extremely decently priced for the large piece I received (it was cocoa cherry flavoured), and was the perfect balance of richness and not-too-sweet-ness :) Very satisfying.

My husband and I then came back another day for their Sunday brunch. For 9.5€ there is a buffet of delicious and healthy vegan foods and desserts that is pretty out of this world! For an added cost you can order coffee, teas, lattes etc. and sip on your drink as you eat the tasty food (and their is complimentary water otherwise.)

I've found my new neighbourhood cafe and highly recommend anyone pop in for a visit! Please note for locals/people travelling with dogs, this place is dog friendly.

Cozy vegan cafe

I came to Cafe Vux after (almost) a day of walking in Berlin. I ended up ordering a lemon bagel, a raspberry cheesecake and a latte as I was pretty hungry :D
I loved especially the cheesecake which was out of this world.

Pros: cozy, inexpensive, yummy

Cons: closes early

amazing cakes, great staff

Love this place - the atmosphere is warm despite the largely white interiors. The choice of cakes is good and they have lots of hot drinks and smoothies too.

There are bagels and soups too which look great.

It's warm and the service is really friendly and fast. I highly recommend trying this place out. They have bunch too

Pros: cakes, service, ambience

Cons: opening times (over summer and autumn mostly)

Leckere Kuchen

Excellent cake

I had a slice of pomegranate cake which was very good. It also looked very fancy and was pretty big. Too bad I did not have room for another slice, the other options also looked very tasty.

Cosy place to stay and read a book. There was some punk music in the background, which I really liked.

Pros: Excellent cake, good value, friendly staff

To-die-for cake!

I got a big slab of passion fruit and pomegranate cake and wish I had got a photo before I demolished it because it looked so pretty. And it tasted sooo good. It was a big slice but I didn't feel sick after because it was quite light and fluffy and it had loads of cream but that was quite light too. Amazing!

Pros: Out of this world cake!, Outdoor seating

Visit recommended!

Very nice place with a comfortable atmosphere. The interior is clear and invites for a stay. I had an awesome Pumpkin-Paprika Quiche with smoked Tofu. The best vegan Quiche I had recently. After that i ate a Vanilla-Pear Cake that was very delicious. Beside it I drank a black Coffee with a balanced taste. Not too bitter or sour. I will defenitely come here again. You should, too :)

Pros: Everything is vegan. Awesome food and drinks. Not

Cons: None

Mixed feelings

Hve only been here three times or so. The cake and the drinks are pretty great but I was totally disappointed by the bagel the last time I ate there. Prices are quite nice, though.

Ah, wonderful Café Vux!

When we first moved to Berlin we lived close to Café Vux, and it quickly became our favourite. I only regret that we live on the other side of town now. Note to Café Vux staff – if you want to open a branch in Prenzlauer Berg, let me know! ;)

It's not the largest menu in the world (soup, sandwiches, waffles, sweets, drinks) but what they do have is delicious. It's perfect for bagel lovers (like us). There's about six or seven to choose from, my personal favourites are the Guava Jelly with (vegan) cheese (which might sound strange, but try it and thank me later), and also the Seitan-Lime one.

There's very good coffees too, and a good range of desserts, such as slices of cake, and these really nice muffins with a sweet crispy topping (though these do change, so they'll probably have a different type of muffin in when you visit!).

The only thing we weren't impressed with were the waffles. It wasn't actually bad or anything, just rather average compared to everything else. I'd opt for a muffin or slice of cake instead next time.

All said, it's a really, really nice place. We've enjoyed every visit. It's located in a good area for other vegan stuff too.

Pros: best filled bagels, good coffees, tasty cakes

I still have to go for the brunch!

I really like this nice and small place. The waitress was very polite and she told me even if the cake is gluten-free, they do cook wheat in the kitchen, so sagacious. I had a raw vegan cake with Lime and it was delicious. Also the Chai latte was great. I have to come back for the brunch!

Pros: raw cakes, nice place, all vegan

Cons: not so much choice

Great Cafe

Awesome cake, very good coffee and everything is vegan. The only bad thing is that they do not open earlier.
