During my trip to Bilbao I visited this small cafeteria twice. First time I only got some baked goods on the go, last I stayed for a while and tried some more drinks and sweets.
Read moreNot everything was good sadly. The hostresses were nice and attentive, the locale was cute and cozy and the prices were what you'd expect. For the good, the coffee and coffee based drinks were delicious. I don't usually like coffee and it takes a good one for me to say "huh, this is pretty good". The bundt cakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sugar. I also liked the palmiers and puff pastry.
But sadly other drinks I tried such as teas tasted watered down and flavorless. Cupcakes also struck me as quite bland. And lemon shortbread tasted very artificial. Maybe I had bad luck but I feel like I can't give it 5 stars with this shortcomings despite the awesome attention and coffee.

Lovely cafetería with delicious sweets - Edit
I came here a couple of times during my visit to Bilbao and would have come many more to try all of their food and drinks. Coffee beverages are the best, for what I've tried. I also loved the white chocolate matcha bread, it was so juicy and fluffy! The chocolate palmiers were probably the best vegan palmiers I have ever tried😄

El mejor desayuno vegano de Bilbao - Edit
A mi novia y a mi nos ha encantado este sitio. Nunca había estado en un sitio 100% vegano especializado en repostería y la verdad que ha merecido la pena. El local no es muy grande pero está situado en pleno casco viejo y tiene una decoración acogedora. La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable y nos dio otras recomendaciones veganas para comer en Bilbao. Muy recomendado!

Imposible decantarte por una cosa: croissants, tartas, palmeras... todo delicioso! Los salados también son impresionantes; la tortilla de patata, la mejor que he probado. El sitio es pequeñito, pero si consigues mesa, es un lugar inmejorable para pasar una tarde tomando algo. 100% recomendable.

I had to go to Bilbao and I am so happy that I went because since I arrived in Spain it's the first time I find a vegan place with ethical coffee! Their sweets are also amazing and the staff is very friendly! The venue is very cozy. Also, I went with my dog and they let me in so it's pet friendly as well. One more pro is that they use compostable coffee cups and lits. Totally recommending it!
