The cafe brings in locally made ready-to-eat savory lunch items like subs, sandwiches, and salads. Accepts custom orders for cakes and baked goods. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am-4:00pm.

Search no longer. You will have a delicious coffee or tea and a wonderful breakfast. My favorite right now is the Waffle Hash. I just had the Breakfast Burrito with sweet potatoes and black beans. It was amazing.

What a nice place with great choices for sandwiches, drinks, and desserts! Their sandwiches are premade so be sure to ask them to heat them up for you - they taste perfectly just-made then!

I was in Alexandria, VA for an event and drove the almost 3hrs to Philadelphia just to try this place! Definitely worth the drive. I’ve been vegan 10yrs and this was the best cannoli I’ve had. I took 3 to go, along with basically one of everything. No matter what you choose, you’ll be satisfied with it all!

I found this gem of a bakery when visiting friends in the area, and went back multiple times. First and foremost, the customer service was wonderful, and the overall vibe is so much fun! Each employee with whom we interacted was delightful and helpful.
Read moreThe food was delicious. A little pricey for breakfast food, but wholly justified by the fact that it’s all vegan food made on site. Clearly, a lot of love and prep goes into the food. I had a gluten-free pancake sandwich one day and a BLT the next. The pancake sandwich was good, but omg that BLT… I will dream of that BLT! The maple oat latte was also excellent. And I had a regular brew coffee which was good. Lastly, I bought a whole blueberry pie to take home, which looks scrumptious.
Overall, absolutely fantastic little bakery. I will 100% be going back next time I’m in Philly.

Disgusting Customer Service - Edit
The coffee was delicious. That is the only reason we returned, plus we were visiting from NYC; and, very excited to try their pastries. However, the customer service was DISGUSTING! We were not even greeted upon arriving. My boyfriend and I said “Good Morning!” with no response. They made us feel completely unwelcome. We asked if the sandwiches were made in the house, luckily we got a response of “no”. The barista went on to say that they’re made in a different bakery. OK, but why not let us know that they would heat them up there if necessary. SMFH! We walked out not knowing they heat up the sandwiches there. We decided to give them a chance by returning the next day, we were greeted. While ordering, the barista made a minor mistake, upon correcting the mistake, her or his response had an attitude, which was “that’s what you ordered” instead of just apologizing and/or simply correcting the mistake. I paid with a hundred dollar bill, they didn’t have change (NOT my Problem). Her/His response to a coworker was “I’m just going give them what I have here”. A simple way to communicate was to say to us, “we only have singles, is that ok?” or “we don’t have change, just singles, would you like paying in a different way?” Any other option would have been a lot more courteous. Their attitude was disgusting and I would go as far as to say prejudicial based on our experience.

The only thing that’s better than clearly marked vegan items is a 100% vegan business. I don’t even think I like cannoli but theirs were superb. Cupcakes, donuts, muffins, scones, brownies… and plenty of savory stuff as well!

As of 6/27, the large menu is highly affordable for how good the food is. With a wealth of great options I decided to stock up on pastries and sandwiches. My newly vegan partner and I loved the McReeky, coffee cake, strawberry roll, chai, s'mores bar, bacun cheddar turnover, cannoli... We were wowed. I found the chai mild, but I don't think my partner would have liked the spicy kind I'm used to from Small World 🥵😆

I love this place. I really appreciate that they just have prepared food wrapped up and ready to go. For me, it makes deciding a lot easier when I dont need to look at the menu, and can instead just grab what looks good. Their drink menu is a little overwhelming, and I'm really bad at ordering drinks 😖 So I usually just go for one of their specials. Though, I do like the dirty chai latte a lot.

A great spot in Philly. They have a nice variety of vegan desserts and pastries. And they’re all so good! Some vegan cakes can be dry but everything here is amazing. Their coffees are great too. Try the Indraloka Mocha! They donate $1.00 from each sold to Indraloka farm sanctuary. They also do other fundraisers to support the local community. A great place with great owners!

Batter and Crumbs is truly a hidden gem! Their location was great and the shop was lovely, clean and well decorated. The staff were sweet and very helpful. Their food and treats are off the charts. The cinnamon roll was huge and so deliciously decadent. The chocolate chip cookie was perfectly soft and the brownie was rich with plenty of chocolate chips. The chocolate milkshake was coconut based and really yummy. The breakfast sandwich was super tasty also.
