I was very happy to find that store in Athens. They have a good selection and the prices are reasonable. They also deliver Greece wide for free after a certain amount.

10000% go!!! Abundance of snacks and food in this little shop!!! Heaps of bars and snacks, found my favourite clif bars, pulsin raw brownies, oskri protein bars, kookie cat cookies, other brands of bars chocolate cookies chips, nut butters (even reeses pb!) vegan meats, cheese, tofu, pasta. For sure worth checking out. There are many bio stores in Athens central but being vegan this one was my absolute favourite! Accepts cards

Bamboo Vegan has great selection of Cheese, Tofu, Sausages and everything in between. Protein bars and snacks to oven ready meals, as well as various kinds of pasta and lentils. Big fan of the tofu infused with olives and absolutely love the hot box with ready to eat pastries. Recommend the spinach pie!

We ate at a vegan restaurant near by, and happily stumbled upon this treasure afterwards. I was so happy to see all the choices available for purchase! We picked up some extra cartons of almond milk to take to the local coffee shops with us, and some treats for our ferry rides.

He helped translate some ingredients for us to make sure there wasn't added sugar in a baby food we purchased AND he gave us a sample pastry (which barely made it out the door because I couldn't wait to eat it). Not only did he do his job well, he went above and beyond showing compassion for everyone in my family. It was such a nice treat to find this store.

Read moreDespite the fact that it's tiny, they try to offer a little bit of everything: cleaning products, hygiene products, vegan dairy and meat substitutes, pasta, snacks, desserts, condiments, you name it.
They also offer sandwiches, pastries, and sometimes even cakes.
Every once in a while they have events such as hot dog or burrito specials.
Everyone working here is wonderfully friendly and charming. Absolutely the best place in Athens.
Yes, the prices are not the same as in other countries, but it's really difficult to get many of these products here in Greece, and you also have to consider that it costs money to keep up a store in the center of Athens (rent, electricity, staff, etc.). The only stores that can offer low prices use unethical practices. Remember that if you want to get paid for your work, other people also need to be able to live off of theirs.

This shop has a huge selection of vegan goods which are very hard to come by in Athens. Faux meats, cheeses, dairy substitutes etc. They have multiple fridges and also one large freezer.

I was happily surprised to find a Vegan shop in Athens. I went to it twice and wanted to buy many things but ended up buying just a few because it was too expensive for me. I mean a chocolate that costs 2 euro in Germany costs over 3 euro in that shop. Everything was a lot more expensive than in any other country I have seen the same brand in but I guess it has to do with export fees and the crisis in Greece.

Bamboo Vegan is a great resource for vegans in Athens. They pack a lot of things into a small space! The shop carries a wide variety of vegan cheeses, tofu, tempeh, and mock meats. Also a big assortment of plant milks, sweets, and fresh baked goods (including a delicious vegan bougatsa). Even though many of these items are available at other bio shops in Athens, I still come here not only to support a vegan business, but also because they have better prices than the other shops. The owners are super friendly, helpful, and full of good advice for vegan living in Athens!

This place is terrific. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming and the variety of vegan products is astonishing. I would definitely recommend trying vegan savoury pastries and sandwiches. I would call them and tell them to save some as they tend to sell out fast. Definitely go to this place, you will not regret it!

If you want to supply yourself with vegan groceries, then there is no other place for you than Green Store! While it is not the only health food store in Athens, it certainly is the best. Oh, and it is COMPLETELY VEGAN!!!

Lovely little shop, with plenty to eat and cook with for a hungry exploratory vegan or foodie. The fresh sweet and savoury pastries are just what you miss out on in Greece as a vegan, but at Bamboo you can make up for that. Come early to avoid disappointment.

I came here for breakfast and to stock up for some snacks on a day trip from Athens that I was taking. The only disappointment I had was that there were not a ton of baked goods (sweet ones). Just a cake, which was ok. There were plenty of hot foods to go pouches, and I got a potato thing. Fortunately they have a ton of great snack food, more granola bars than I've ever seen in one place! The guy was very nice, perfect English, great environment, but not the bakery/food shop I thought it would be. It's really just a store with a few hot food options which you must take to go. I give it five stars anyways because it's my fault for beig confused.
