Super friendly, loads of choice

Dipped in last minute, just before they closed, on a rainy Sunday night and the staff were super friendly. Lovely and warm when cold outside, with some tables of friends chatting. Super vibe. Somewhere I’ll go back to for sure!

Pros: Super friendly, Great variety

Good vegan savoury options desserts a bit of a miss

I have been to this place a few times as it’s close to my work, purely vegan and has good savoury options. Every so often I am tempted to try the various cakes as a treat but I am always left disappointed. I have tried lots of vegan desserts and cakes and always find the ones here dry/crumbly and leaving a bit of a ‘chalky’ texture in the mouth. I appreciate it is great that there is a local place that has vegan cakes but I don’t think the ones sold here are worth paying for and I personally do not think they promote vegan cakes as a viable option even for non-vegans.

Pros: Purely vegan - wraps are nice

Cons: Desserts aren’t very good

Great food, busy place

Stopped here for coffee and cake one weekday afternoon and loved the look of it. Got seats ok (and pleased they have a loo) and a great selection of desserts and coffees. The savoury stuff looked good, too. My muffin was lovely and well sized so I had to take half away! Only downside was the place was rather noisy, maybe bad acoustics, so not the place to go for a quiet chat, but definitely worth a visit and I'd go back.

Pros: Great selection of savoury and sweet, Really tasty fresh food and drinks, Good value

Cons: Quite noisy, Relatively small so tables close

Wanted to like it

We went as a group and had made a reservation as it was a special occasion.
A couple of hours before our reservation, I received an unexpected phone call asking us to come later than the agreed time which was difficult as small children were involved. When we arrived later, there was still no table available and no one greeted us on arrival or offered any explanation. Our group stood awkwardly (and embarrassingly) waiting for a group to finish and then for the table to be cleared. No apology was made. When we finally ordered, one member of our group asked for no “cheese” on the burger (for allergy reasons) and the waitress unfortunately brought it with “cheese”. This was flagged up and the waitress took the meal away and there was a delay, the rest of the group were nearing the end of their meal while this member was just starting. In addition, two of us had pizzas which had been overcooked / burnt particularly the bases and edges. Neither of us felt comfortable raising this to the waitress because we had already complained. Sadly, I do not think we will be returning as we really wanted it to be a success.

Well worth a visit!

Popped into Ahimsa The Vegan Cafe for lunch yesterday. Excellent selection of fresh salad components and wraps are made in front of you with whatever selection you like.

They have chilli tofu, vegan quorn jerky and black bean as the main "hot" fillings and a whole variety of other stuff to go into the wrap, including humous, vegan cheese, vegan mayo etc.

Loads of vegan cakes too as well as other deserts.

Great to know everything is vegan and staff are helpful and polite. The cafe is quite small so I suspect during busy periods you may have trouble getting a seat. If this is the case, just get a takeaway and go sit in the park across the way (as long as the weather permits!).

We'll be visiting again very soon!

And they now have extended the menu and hours to cater for evening meals! Fabby!!

Gutes komplett Veganes Bistro

Das Ahimsa ist ziemlich neu und alles schmeckt sehr lecker. Man kann sich seine Mahlzeit selbst zusammen stellen und es gibt kostenloses Wasser zum selbst nehmen. Sehr freundlich.

Pros: Gute Lage, netter Service, Selbst kombinierbar und gratis Wasser, Einziges komplett veganes Cafe in Pinner

Cons: Man riecht ziemlich nach Essen hinterher

Fantastic!

Friendly staff, excellent service, delicious food. Wraps and salad bowls made fresh to order, with a selection of tasty homemade desserts and snacks. I went for the Mediterranean super-food wrap, followed by a slice of carrot cake and a cup of coffee. Will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu!

amazing! so glad I found it

An all vegan restaurant with lots of options. I got a jerk quorn wrap which was amazing, as well as the walnut and coffee cake. You can make your own wraps and there are breakfast options, as well as desserts and smoothies.. I must add since I discovered this place, I have been there twice in a week

Pros: lots of yummy options and everything is vegan, friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced

Cons: none..seriously!!!

Very good vegan cafe

We had lunch at Ahimsa after visiting the Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner. Both are worth a visit and the food at Ahimsa was excellent. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long for our meals. A good choice of main courses and desserts.

Pros: Good, vegan food, Variety of dishes, Nice, friendly atmosphere

Delicious food, good prices

I ate a lemon cupcake on poppyseed muffin base and drank a freshly pressed vegetable juice. My partner ate a Carribean Jerk Vegan Quorn Wrap. All the things were delicious, the prices were good and staff was quite nice, too. The space is clean and airy.

Lovely!

I'm so glad to find there is a new vegan restaurant so close to where I live! The food is good, but there is room for improvement.

The wraps were lovely. I would like to see them expand their repertoire to include some more exotic flavours that my non-vegan family members might find attractive too. Perhaps some curried potato / aloo saag / Bombay flavours.

It would also be great to see some vegan social events held at the cafe. Perhaps some music or poetry evenings. It would be great if this could become a vegan hub for likeminded people in the area!

When I went there, it was very busy. I hope the cafe continues to be a success and that they keep striving for progress so that I can carry on visiting it for years to come!

Pros: Finally - a vegan cafe in the area! , Everything is made with love , Friendly staff and lovely customer service

Cons: Some spicier / more exotic options would be great!, Would be nice to have some socials held there, Can get a little busy!
