Começa com o andar quilómetros em nome de seguir um instinto de que será aqui que me irei nutrir e aquecer num dia nublado, tão típico de Sintra.

Há algo de único neste espaço e algo único hoje em dia... é precioso.
Precioso também este momento em que cada garfada vem com um prazeroso conforto.
Preciosa a Ana que cozinha, oferecendo a unicidade da sua existência e o seu amor nos seus pratos tão maravilhosos.
Preciosa a Graça que nos recebe e serve com uma enorme doçura, cheia de amor.
É daqueles sítios que nos relembram o autêntico.
Vale a pena andar quilómetros, só para testemunhar o resultado de uma vontade diária de unificar sabores, cocriando prazeres com a vida.

One of the best restaurants in Sintra - Edit
Situated in the old market building, it has a very nice atmosphere. The food is made from fresh local grown products and it is delicious. Very friendly owner. Definitely, one of the best places to have a meal in Sintra.

Very tasty, local, real, seasonal food. Very csusy and friendly place. Being in the very center of the historical town where most places are tourist traps, this one is not. The prices are great. You pay 10€ gor a meal that includes starter, main dish, desert and drink.

Read moreO restaurante diz-se vegetariano, situa - se ao lado de um talho e em todo o restaurante se ouve o talhante a cortar a carne. Pedimos uma mesa mas estava cheio e a comida tinha acabado e pediram-nos para aguardar 20min. Tudo bem. Como não tínhamos uma mesa, ficamos em pé. Entretanto a senhora que nos recebeu falou com a cozinheira, que revirou os olhos ridicularizando a situação de querermos ficar longe do talho. A senhora veio dar a informação que não podíamos ficar ali de pé a olhar e ia limpar uma mesa lá fora para aguardarmos pelo almoço, curiosamente com vista priveligiada para o talho.
Entretanto percebemos que o mesmo restaurante tem dois espaços, um vegetariano e um de petiscos com um presunto quase a dividir a entrada.
Sendo que isto parece mais um conceito oportunista para ganhar dinheiro fácil, decidimos ir embora.

Ficamos com pena que a experiência não tenha sido do seu agrado. A Praça, como o nome indica, situa-se no mercado da vila de Sintra. A proximidade a um talho não só é inevitável como não pensamos que cause qualquer constrangimento no funcionamento do dia-a-dia.
A Praça é uma instituição criada por pessoas que não estão envolvidas noutras áreas de restauração circundantes e com quem coexistimos todos os dias no mercado. A vossa percepção terá induzido em erro.
O nosso oportunismo centra-se apenas em servir saborosas refeições vegetarianas e vegan. Não temos espaço para presuntos.

O espaço é muito agradável, com vistas bonitas para a vila histórica de Sintra. Os empregados muito simpáticos e hospitaleiros. O almoço consistia em abóboras recheadas com coguemlos a acompanhar com batata assada e salada. Melhor comida vegan que alguma vez experimentei! A sobremesa também era óptima: melão muito fresco e doce (mas não em exagero). Tudo isto por um preço de 10€ onde a bebida, entrada, prato principal e sobremesa estavam todos incluídos. Já fui a sítios onde comi menos em quantidade e qualidade e paguei mais. Resumindo... óptima relação qualidade/preço. Voltarei sem dúvida.

They have a menu consisting of a starter, main and dessert for 10 euros. When we were there the vegan menu had been ordered so many times that day that they didn't have everything anymore. They modified it a bit and told us it would be a bit cheaper. The food was simple but really great, you can really taste that it is all fresh produce. Very friendly staff!

We visited Sintra just yesterday and were looking for a vegetarian place to have lunch, so we came across A Praça. We hadn’t had time to read many reviews and had no idea if the place would be worth it or not but let me tell you: 10/10 for sure! Everything was incredibly tasty, well seasoned, and great looking, and the staff was also very nice to us! It’s a small place but if you’re around Sintra you shouldn’t miss it for sure

We went to visit the sintra castles before lunch, now, I can say, the “restaurant” is better than the castles. I love all about it. The kitchen is in the dinning room, you can se how they’re cooking, a lot of colours of fruits and vegetables everywhere. And the food...is magic. you can’t leave Sintra without come here.
